He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Black and Winifred Black; and his siblings, Curt Black and Gloria Black. He is survived by: his wife Joan Black of Irondale, Ohio; his sons, Glenn Black (Julie) of Lisbon, Ohio, Michael Black (Danyal) of Smithfield, Ohio, Rodger Black (Cheryl) of East Palestine, Ohio and Gordon "Bruce" Black (Shannon) of Irondale, Ohio; his brothers, Dale Black and Gene Black; and his grandchildren, Alana Owens, Kayla Sayer, Ashlynn Black and Timothy Black.
