With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Mathews Sr. of Independence, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 1, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Margie; his parents, Adam Mathews and Alyce Mathews; and his sister Connie Mathews. He is survived by: his children, Melissa, Thomas Jr. (Missy) and Michael; his grandchildren, Mikayla, Tyler, Dylan, Lola, McKenzie, Delilah, Noel, Milo and Charlotte; and his great grandchild Boogs, Jr..

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fortuna Funeral Home (7076 Brecksville Rd, Cleveland, OH 44131).
