Though Shirley Irene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shirley Irene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Peters, Melvin Zalonis, George Zalonis (Marianna) and Vickie Ritenour; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Allen, Krysty Shannon, Crystal Allen (Andy Strunk), George Zalonis Jr., Robert Victor, Michael Zalonis, Rachel Bartley (Dale) and Steven Zalonis.
A reception was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fortuna Funeral Home (7076 Brecksville Rd, Cleveland, OH 44131).
