He was predeceased by: his spouse Fred Bowen; his parents, Zigmund and Anne; and his nephew Robert. He is survived by: his siblings, Susan Penko (Paul) and Thomas (Linda); and his nieces and nephews, Thomas, Jr. (Lisa Nesbitt), Karen Vogt (Matthew), Richard (Ruby) and Joanne Penko (Jacob Thomas).
