She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard McCarthy and Margaret McCarthy; and her stepson Brian. She is survived by: her husband Alex; her stepdaughter Julie; her brothers, Bryan (Ann) and Jim (Debbie); and her children, Rachael and Lauren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Advancement Department at Holy Name High School for the Margaret McCarthy scholarship fund.
