He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patti; his children, Kevin (Lisa), Kim Bizup (Joey), Kellee Ipe (Erich), Kyle (Sarah), Kariann Rosenlieb (Jason) and Jeffrey (Jessica Chester); and his parents, Leonard and Margaret.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help in research of CDKL5 for Michael's granddaughter, Charlotte.
