He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn N.; his parents, James E. Jr. and Margaret; and his sister Mary Catherine. He is survived by: his children, James E. IV (Aida), Cathleen A. Coakley (Steve), Michael J. (Erin) and John P.; his grandchildren, James V, Laura, Mary, Elizabeth, Alexandra, Charlotte, Zachary, Gavin, Katie, Allie, Kylie, Kloie and Kinsley; and his siblings, Thomas (Pat) and Terrence (Debra).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fortuna Funeral Home - Independence (7076 Brecksville Rd, Cleveland, OH 44131). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. John Nepomucene Church (3785 Independence Rd, Cleveland, OH 44105). A burial was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at the Calvary Cemetery (10000 Miles Ave, Cleveland, OH 44105).
