The memory of Elaine J. Markowski (Independence, Ohio), who passed away on January 25, 2025 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Constantine "Costi"; her children, Cheri Scranage (Lyal), Darlene Markowski and David Markowski (Beth); her grandchildren, Dana Starr, Adam Scranage (Mary), Will Markowski and Carly Markowski; her great grandchildren, Victor, Zac, Colton, Aliza, Isaac and Willow; and her siblings, Jerry Oranski, Dennis Oranski and Jeff Oranski.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Michael Church (6912 Chestnut Rd, Independence, OH 44131). An entombment will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the All Saints Cemetery (480 W Highland Rd, Northfield, OH 44067).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Elaine Markowski Scholarship fund at Andrews Osborne Academy, 38588 Mentor Ave, Willoughby, OH 44094 or at andrewsosborne.org.
