Ann Korecko Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ann Korecko of Independence, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard; and her parents, Andrew Hudak and Anna Hudak. She is survived by: her children, Peggy and Mark (Ginny); her grandsons, Tyler and Ian; and her brothers, Andrew (Sophie), Joseph and John Hudak (Sue).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fortuna Funeral Home (7076 Brecksville Rd, Cleveland, OH 44131). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Michael Church (6912 Chestnut Rd, Independence, OH 44131). A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Maple Shade Cemetery (6161 Brecksville Rd, Independence, OH 44131).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann's name to St. Andrew's Abbey, St. Michael the Archangel Church in Independence, or Northeast Ohio Hospice.
