He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Behrens and Gertrude Behrens; and his brother-in-law Roland "Cobb" Minge. He is survived by: his wife Marleen (Minge); his sister Carole Ann Thomas; his children, Philip of Norwalk, Christopher (Stella), Redondo Beach and Elizabeth Behrens; his granddaughter Saundi Behrens; and his great grandchild Caden Shaufelberger of Lincolnton.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, and the Humane Society of Erie County, both of Sandusky.
