He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bainbridge and Mary Bainbridge; his brothers, Phillip and Henry Bainbridge (Fern Bainbridge); and his grandson Steven Bainbridge.

He is survived by: his wife Fern Katherine Reed of Cleveland; his children, Dale Bainbridge (Allison Chappo), David Bainbridge (Jennifer) and Kathy Beilhart (Rick); and his grandchildren, Alex Beilhart, Mathew Beilhart and Jessica Bainbridge.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to either Doctor's Without Boarders or your local Food Bank.
