He was predeceased by: his parents, D. Ross Strayer and Virgie Marie Strayer (Quillet); and his siblings, Terry and Tammy Strayer. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Jane Strayer (Smith); his son James Staggs (Annette); his grandsons, Jake (Jaime) and Jack; his great grandchild Josie; and his brother Ted Strayer (Karen).
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Oakland Cemetery (2917 Milan Rd, Sandusky, OH 44870). A wake was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at the Toft Funeral Home, Wakeman Chapel (16 Cooper St, Wakeman, OH 44889).
