He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sowecke and Jane Sowecke (Moloney); and his brother Bryan Sowecke. He is survived by: his siblings, Frank, Jr. (Kathryn), Tim (Julie) and Jane Miller (David); his sister-in-law JoAnne Markin; his grandchildren, Jeff Sowecke (Tobias Graebel), Joe Wright, Kyle, Joey (Taylor Slauterbeck), Tommy Bogden, Keegan, Morgan Bollenbacher (Nick Mix) and Reghan Ortega; and his great grandchild Fionna Bogden. He is also survived by his wife and children.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Tom's memory be made to Stein Hospice Service, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
