She was predeceased by: her parents, Olaf Ferdinandsen and Marjorie Ferdinandsen (Ward); her husband Joseph Smith; her son Joseph "Joey" Smith Jr; her daughter-in-law Paulette Smith; her grandson Gregory Browne; and her siblings, Betty Cardella, Corrine Ruthsatz, Bob, Harry and Fred "Moak" Ferdinandsen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Browne (Thomas) of Sandusky and Brenda Rotsinger (Richard) of Huron; her grandchildren, Kevin Smith (Rachel Smith) of Tiffin, Jeff of Berlin Heights, David Smith of Berlin Heights, Eric Smith (Alicia Hawkins) of Toledo, Lisa Rodriguez (Al) of Elyria, Kenneth Browne (Suzanne), Mary Johnson (David) of Sandusky and Joseph Rotsinger (Stephanie); and her siblings, Pat Dubois (Frank Trautman) of Sandusky and Jack Ferdinandsen of Sandusky. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
