He is survived by: his wife Mary Barnes (Gibson) of Huron; his children, Kellie Teeple (Joe), Dawn Rachul (Shawn), Sherrena Bilgen (Brian), Richard Barnes Jr. and Jason Freeman; his grandchildren, Scott Stevens, Angelina Ryan, Jaiden, Jared, Joseph Teeple Jr., Dominic Barnes, Yavay, Nolan Faflik, Amber Patterson, Alias, Brady, Farrah and Maggie Freeman; and his siblings, Nancy King, Charles Barnes and Paul Hevner Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
