She was predeceased by: her husband Robert R. Ward; her sons, Robert J. Ward and Jon C. Ward; and her brother Robert Smith. She is survived by: her children, Kai Ward of Grafton, Dawn Werner (Greg Smith) of Vermilion and Heather Pletcher (Nick) of Vickery; her siblings, Cheryl Boughton (Roger) of Minnesota and Jack Smith (Patricia) of Indiana; and her close friend Rosemary Smith of Huron. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
