She was predeceased by: her parent Helen R. Reese (Lashaway); her husband O. Derrald Thaxton; her son Robert Derrald; and her siblings, Kenneth Reese, Naomi Brady (Reese), Clara Ellen Harmon (Reese), Keith Reese, Donna Merillat (Reese) and Karrol Reese.
She is survived by: her children, Cherryl Clark (Francis) of Pensacola, Larry Thaxton (Val Jean) of Huron, Richard Thaxton (Sandra) of Huron and Gregory Thaxton (Suzanne) of Avon Lake, Ohio.; and her sister Beatrice Sharp (Reese). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
