She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Meyer and Ruth Meyer (Kohlmeyer); her husband Lester "Bill" Franklin; her siblings, Robert Meyer, Virginia Dabrunz (Meyer) and Joyce Kettel (Meyer); and her daughter Lori Dawson (Franklin).
She is survived by: her brother Dean Meyer; her children, Linda (Franklin) Makarewicz (Michael) and Dean Franklin; her grandchildren, Kathleen McCabe (Dan), Megan Makarewicz (Robert Price), Philip Makarewicz and Paige Dawson (Jacob Boettner); and her great grandchildren, Hattie, Matthew McCabe and Arthur Boettner. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Zion Lutheran Church in Huron or The Foundation for Firelands at Firelands Health in Sandusky.
