John Henry Waldock Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 1, 2019, at the age of 90, John Henry Waldock Sr. (Huron, Ohio), born in Sandusky, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Alfred Leonard Waldock and Helen Ernestine Weier Waldock; his former wife Florence Waldock (Ramsey); his siblings, Jean Elizabeth Bennett Jones and William Henry Waldock; and his sister-in-law Ara Lou Smith Waldock.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Rion-Waldock; and his children, Rebecca Waldock of Huron, Elizabeth Waldock Houck of Arizona, Laura Waldock Hardy (Jerry "Jake Hardy), John Henry Waldock Jr. of Sandusky, Margot Waldock Leibenthal (John Liebenthal) of Sandusky and Andrew Waldock of Sandusky. He is also survived by grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In place of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The OHIO State University 1314 Kinnear Rd Columbus, Ohio 43212 designated for the Ohio Sea Grant Endowment Fund (#205406) or the Dr. Jeff Reutter Stone Lab Endowment (#246040), or a charity of your choice.
