He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Russell and Edith Russell; his brother James Russell; his great grandchild Camden Baummer; and his pets, Mandy and Abby.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Slaga; his children, Renee Bright (Greg) of Wooster, Ryan Russell (Patti) of Wadsworth and John Russell (Nicole) of Akron; his grandchildren, Courtney Baummer (John), Morgan Stair (Shea), Austin Bright (Claire), Alex, Aidan, Alivia, Addison Russell, Trent Patterson, Preston, Anya Russell and Draydon Price; and his great grandchildren, Clara, Nina Baummer and Leah. He is also survived by his two sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home (216 E Larwill St, Wooster, OH 44691). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the NorthWinds Church (8691 Easton Rd, West Salem, OH 44287).
