It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Steinen (Huron, Ohio), born in Sandusky, Ohio, who passed away on January 6, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Merle and Marie Frances Fairfield (Boos); her former husband George J. "Sonny" Hudson; and her sister Audrey Hartman. She is survived by: her husband Gilbert D. "Gil" Steinen of Huron; her children, Terry Kaye (Wayne) of Port St, Judy Hudson of Sandusky, Steve and Mark Hudson of Sandusky; her sister Carole Tight (Larry) of Sandusky; her nieces and nephews, Vonnie (Tom), Rick (Sharon), Drew (Susan), Scott Gundlach and Mike Hudson; and her stepchildren, Linda Steinen of Akron and Gary Steinen of Colorado.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870.
