He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Ed and Mae Jenkins; and his siblings, Hollie, Ethel, Paul, Earl and Junior.
He is survived by: his wife Lena; his children, Connie Hemchak (Bob) of Lagrange, OH, Carol Edwards (Don) of Powell, OH, James, Jr. (Donna) of Norwalk, OH and Lois Thompson (Scott) of Huron; his grandchildren, Tony, Kristin, Nicole, Cody and Trevor; and his great grandchildren, Keegan, Gavin, Lincoln, Kennedy, Jackson, Rosalie, Amari and Carsyn.
