He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Gruver and Marjorie Gruver; and his brother Rev. Dennis Gruver. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gruver of Huron; his children, Deena Gruver, David Gruver (Kelly) and Douglas Gruver (Kathryn); his grandchildren, Devin, Isaac, Jacob and Gabrielle Gruver; his sister Carol Stanley (James); and his sister-in-law Priscilla Gruver.
