He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierre W. Gerold and Eleanore Gerold (Winklea); his siblings, Tom Gerold (Joanne) and Phyllis Ann Gerold; his brothers-in-law, John Johnston, Bob Daniel and Karl Potts; his nephew Steven Olsen; and his niece Amy Gibson.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Johnston; his sons, Scott Gerold (Melissa) and Craig Gerold; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Brianna, Caylee, Michaela and Matthew Gerold; his siblings, Jane Daniel, Mary Potts, Gloria Hertzfeld (Dale), Kay Benefiel and Glenn Gerold (Diane); and his sisters-in-law, Carol Olsen and Peggy Johnston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Services will be postponed at this time, due to a positive Covid 19 test in the family.
