She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Mihalek; her parents, James Slate and Mary Elizabeth Slate (Carmichael); and her sisters, Marjorie Crawley and Annie Caroline Slate.
She is survived by: her children, JoAnn Mihalek of Huron, Mary Boos of Huron, Dan Mihalek (Lori) of Florence and Joe Mihalek (Molly) of Huron; her grandchildren, Julie Spiess (Brooks) of Toledo, Jordan, Clinton Boos of Huron, Jacob Ashe of Huntington Beach, CA, Jessica Ashe of Lakewood and James Ashe of Wakeman; and her siblings, Arlene Cahill of Bermuda Run, NC, James of Norwalk, William of Norwalk and Ronald Slate of Norwalk.
