With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Allen Nissen of Huron, Ohio, born in Sandusky, Ohio, who passed away on October 7, 2021 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Burnell and Jacqueline (Harple). He is survived by: his wife Joanne Cox-Nissen; his stepdaughters, Julie C. McKee of Portland, OR and Janna M. Warren of Pickerington, OH; his son Andrew J. Nissen (Katie) of Lakewood, OH; his grandchildren, Wilhelmina Nissen, Johanna Nissen and Zachary McKee; and his siblings, Beverly Amstutz (Al) of McDaniels, KY and Jack Nissen (Gloria) of Willard, OH. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
