Frances M. Leeper Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances M. Leeper of Huron, Ohio, who passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Wechter and Mary Grace Wechter; her sisters, Terese Barret and Margaret Crump; her brothers-in-law, Roger Fichter, George Reffitt Sr. and Dennis Carlstedt; her niece Amy Lizzi; her nephew Matt Reffitt; and her former husband Roderick Hurak.
She is survived by: her husband Grant H. Leeper; her children, Lisa DeVerna (Richard) and Chad Hurak; her grandchildren, Ashleigh and Zach DeVerna (Samantha); her great grandchild Hazel DeVerna; her sister Ruth Fichter; her sisters-in-law, Maxine, Frankie and Susie; her stepchildren, Lara Weber and Chris Leeper (Heather); her stepgrandchildren, Brandon Alexander, Caleb Weber, Zachary and Jadyn Leeper; her cousin Pat Pepitone; and her close friend Rosemary Ellis.

Fran's final gift of love was to donate her body to the Ohio University Medical College of Ohio.
