She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gorden and Olive Gorden; her husband Edward Romay; her daughter Kathy Romay O'Byrne; and her siblings, Paul Moyer, Ruby Hyde, Otto Moyer and Opal Welch.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy Palmer (Bruce) of Huron and Bill Romay (Tricia) of Valencia; and her grandchildren, Julie VanBoxtel (Deron), Lauren Gopal (Naveen), Todd Palmer, Conner O'Byrne (Jamie) and Caitlin Rubacka (Joe). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
