He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hartley and Virginia Hartley of Castalia; and his brothers, Eldon, Thomas and Ronald Hartley.
He is survived by: his wife Jerry Rogers; his children, Doni Hartley (Carrie), Shelley Rodriguez (Artie), Dawn Capuano (Tony), Kimberly Wonacott and Jodi Hartley Kane (Todd); his siblings, Darlene Hartley and Robert Hartley; and his sister-in-law Sandy Hartley (Thomas) of Sandusky. He is also survived by ten grandsons.
