He was predeceased by: his father Donald Armstrong, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Delores "Dee" Armstrong (Franks); his daughter Athea Armstrong (Mary Jaynes); and his siblings, Dena Armstrong, Doug Armstrong and Dale Armstrong. He is also survived by 4 grandsons.
