He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Dancer and Jane Dancer; his sister Kathie Toops; and his siblings-in-law, Janet Rhinehalt and Jerry Rhinehalt.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Dancer; his children, Mark Dancer (Amy) and Michele Pollak (Robert); his grandchildren, Jessica Chambers (Michael), Megan Dancer, Troy Dancer, Haley Dancer, Connor Matiacio and Alina Pollak; his great grandchild Jack Chambers; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Rhinehalt and Tom Toops.
