He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Steinmetz and Carol Steinmetz (Cronk); his brothers, Patrick and William Jude Steinmetz; his nephew Allen Steinmetz; his grandparents, Harvey, Gladys Steinmetz, Rollin and Carrie Cronk; and his pets, Pupster, Tasha, Willie and Mickey "Mickers".
He is survived by: his siblings, Susan Steinmetz of Sandusky, Brigid Steinmetz of Huron, Stephen (Candy) of Sandusky, Tom (Jill) of Huron, Ted of Huron, Jon of Huron, Brian (Joann) of Huron, Vincent of Huron and James Steinmetz (Candi) of Huron; his sister-in-law Julie Steinmetz of Huron; and his children, Lindsey and Kaleb. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and other relatives.
