She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Bess and Doris Bess. She is survived by: her sons, Ronald Poland II (Marcia) of Huron and Bradley D. Poland of Norwalk; her grandson Ty C. Poland of Huron; and her sister Beverly Kayatin of Huron.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Norwalk Public Library, 46 West Main Street, Norwalk.
