He was predeceased by: his son Garry Ricks; and his half-sister Mary Jo Knapp. He is survived by: his spouse Phyllis Hurley; his sons, Perry Ricks and Barry Ricks (Julia); his grandchildren, Heather Reiter (Todd), Mandy Ricks, David Ricks, Tori Ricks, Caimin Goodman and Ciaran Goodman; and his great grandchildren, Scott Reiter, Noah Reiter, Sam Reiter, Gavin McClintock and Will Ricks.
