Virginia A. Sutherland Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2025, at the age of 92, Virginia A. Sutherland of Hudson, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Alyce Slater and Thomas Lee Burns; and her parents, Thomas Burns and Dorothy Burns. She is survived by: her husband Sheldon S. Sutherland; her children, Scott Sutherland (Brenda), Bruce Sutherland (Jensine) and Brenda Divine (Rob); her grandchildren, Clay, Hoyt, Camden, Tanner Sutherland and Jack Divine; and her great grandchildren, Braxton, Calder, Dryfton and Emerald.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the The Laurel Lake Community Room (200 Laurel Lake Dr, Hudson, OH 44236).
In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made in Ginny's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital https://www.stjude.org. to help fight cancer in children or Tunnel to Towers Foundation https://dogood.t2t.org. to support Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children.
