She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Thorington and Alan Thorington. She is survived by: her spouse David C. Grunenwald; her children, Jill Grunenwald (Ben Cox) and Amy; her grandchild Liam Burke; her siblings, Marianne King (Don) and Stephen Thorington (Nancy); and her siblings-in-law, Charles Grunenwald (Barbara), Joan Grunenwald, Alice Goldsmith (Ralph), Mark Grunenwald (Marnie), Rita Clemente (Don) and Julie Stangel. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church Preschool.
