He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Vedder and Edwin Vedder. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Mark Vedder (Ellita) and Denise Eichmann (Kenneth); his stepson Paul Rizzo (Carol); his grandchildren, Nicholas Klockenga (Kathryn), Matthew Klockenga (Ashley), Zak Eichmann (Jessica), Katherine Mobley (Melvin) and Jennifer Bradley (Ryan); his niece Jennifer Lohndorf (Glenn); and his nephews, Fred Ilgenfritz (Martha) and Peter Ilgenfritz. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cornerstone Hospice House, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778; the St. James Memorial Fund; or an organization that supports programs to better the lives of children.
