He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Sanders and Emma Sanders; and his brother Carl Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his children, Stephanie Hofner (Andy), Matthew (Beth), David (Deidre) and Jonathan (Janie); his grandchildren, Emily, Sara, William, Elliott, Heidi, Henry, Frederick, Thomas and Franklin; and his sisters, Pat Ruhenkamp (late Don) and Jeanne Mescher (Dan).
