It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lynne A. Metro of Hudson, Ohio, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lobas and Coletta Lobas of Strongsville, Ohio.. She is survived by: her husband David Metro; her daughters, Kathleen Gerrard (Jeffrey), Cheryle Rowlands (Shayne) and Laura Metzger (Tony); her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Adam), Rebecca (Ed), Matthew (Karol), Summerly (Sterling), Shayne (Paige), Spencer (Allie), Sydney (Jimmy), Samantha, Tori and Blake; her great grandchildren, Elijah, Kameron, Izzy, Wyatt, Sage, Elliot and William; her siblings, Nancy Nolan (late Ronald) of Jeffrey Lobas, M. D., Gregory Lobas (Gretchen) and Richard Lobas (Christine); and her sisters-in-law, Marcia Josett and Linda West (Michael).
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Johnson Romito Funeral Home - Hudson (19 E Main St, Hudson, OH 44236). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM and at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (340 N Main St, Hudson, OH 44236).
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made in Lynne's name to Akron Children's Hospital Genetics Division (http://www.akronchildrens.org), St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (http://www.stjude.org) or UNICEF (http://www.unicefusa.org).
