He is survived by: his wife Joanna Bird; his children, David Bird (Mary), Karin Tapee (Mark) and Michael Bird (Lori); his grandchildren, Eric Bird (Kate), Jessica Livigni (Tony), John Tapee (Sue), Michael Tapee, Ethan Bird and Caroline Bird; his sister Bernice Sayers; and his brother-in-law John Kindley (Connie). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
