Jane Ann (Schmera) Beck, age 75, passed away on October 30, 2022 in Hudson, OH.
Born on December 31, 1946 in Johnstown, PA to the late Rudolph F. and Ellen (McGreehan) Schmera, she was a resident of the Kent area for many years. Jane was an advocate for the elderly and loved helping people in need, also had a knack for getting into mischievous situations.

Preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kristina Ann Beck; son-in-law, Brian Crispin; ex-husband Karl E. Beck, sisters Darlene Ann Schmera, Mary Ellen Franko; she is survived by his daughters, Darlene Marie Crispin of Mansfield, Texas, Kristina Lynn Goodell; Jane Beck; grandchildren, Alexander, Colton, and Bryson Crispin, Joshua and Chrystaline Curry, Carl and Beau Goodell; brother-in-law Andrew Franko Sr.; other family and friends.
There will be no funeral or memorial service. Jane donated her body to the University of Medicine and will be cremated.
