He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Ihle and Faye Ihle; his son James Boyd Ihle Jr.; and his grandson James Boyd Ihle III. He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Hutchinson and Melissa Lawton (Greg); his grandchildren, Tom Hutchinson (Mary), Joanna Hutchinson (Jule), Rebecca Hutchinson, Alexandra Lawton and Caroline Lawton; his brother Robert Ihle; and his cousin Goldie Johnson.
