It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Caren Young of Hudson, Ohio, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on March 31, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Caren Young to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dwight Creamer and Patricia Creamer. She is survived by: her husband James Young; her children, Christopher Young, Matthew Young and Susan Olsen; her grandchildren, Lena and Anders Olsen; and her sisters, Kathleen Wolf and Barbara Brunot. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Covid -19 protocol will be enforced, masks are mandatory and six foot social distancing will be followed.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kent City Schools for Rough Riders Read Program and can be sent to 321 N. DePeyster St. Kent, OH. 44240 or to the Crossroads Hospice Program, https://crhcf.org.

I didn’t see Caren as much since we moved to Akron but when I did see her she always acted happy to see me. Such a kind and warm person. You will be missed. ❤️”
