He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stritenberger and Eva Stritenberger (Pepper); and his brother Bill Stritenberger. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Stritenberger; his children, Bob Stritenberger, Tammy Stritenberger, Tony Stritenberger and Terri (David Radominski); his grandchildren, Ryan Radominski, Aaron Radominski and Matthew Radominski; and his siblings, John, Barbara Nealon, Becky and David.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Robert's honor.
