With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Maria Asztalos of Huber Heights, Ohio, born in Pirtleville, Arizona, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Maria left this world on November 10, 2024 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ignacio Saavedra and Jesse Saavedra; her husband Thomas A. Asztalos; and her brother Oscar Saavedra. She is survived by: her son Eric; her daughter-in-law Wendy Asztalos; her daughter Deborah Dunn; her grandchildren, Jesse Asztalos (Leigha), Nathan Asztalos, Mitchell Hockenberry, Sarah Davis (Kenneth), Travis Dunn and Rachel Dunn; her great grandchildren, Jaxon, Ivorly and Monroe; and her siblings, Robert Saavedra (Cindy) and Norma Hurtado. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home - North Dayton Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424).
