She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Clayton and June Spencer (Yocum); her husband Charles; her daughter Sandy Sims; her brother Marlon Spencer; and her grandsons, Eric and Craig Patrick.

She is survived by: her sons, Ron Patrick (Sue) and Roger Patrick; her sister Millie Hanselman (Barry); and her close friend Crystal Walker. She is also survived by four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
