He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles C., Jr. and Jean E. McGovern (Connolly); his brothers, Frederick J. Utzinger, III and Charles C. McGovern, III (Chuck); his nephew Charles C. McGovern IV; his sister Fosie (McGovern); and his brother-in-law Frain Stephenson (Steve).
He is survived by: his siblings, Sherrie Hilty (Jon), Charma Ridgeway (Dave), Mary Tucker (Jim) and Mike McGovern; his sisters-in-law, Shirley Utzinger and Tina; and his friends, Wally Jenkins and Billy Reed. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
