With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John W. Hamilton of Huber Heights, Ohio, born in Cambridge, Ohio, who passed away on November 1, 2021 at the age of 73. He was predeceased by: his father William John Hamilton. He is survived by: his mother Dorothea "Dottie" Selock (Hopkins) of Cambridge; his sons, Johnny Hamilton (Brandy) of South Branch, IN, Timothy Hamilton of Huber Heights and Eric Patterson of Huber Heights; his sister Susan Tysinger (Paul) of Zanesville; his grandchildren, Kelsey, Sidney, Allison, John Matthew, Liam, Sadie Hamilton and Kyle Patterson; and his cousin Bill Armstrong. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Saturday (November 6, 2021) from 12 p. m. to 2 p. m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 2 p. m. Friends and family are welcome, but due to COVID-19 please take all necessary precautions to ensure your safety and everyone else's should you decide to attend. Burial will be private at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.

John Wayne has come & visited all of us . Johnny would talk to all of us by phone & keep tabs on how our families were.
