He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Sr. Moody and Thelma Moody; his wife Betty Moody; his daughter Jacquline Leonard; and his great grandchildren, Sam and Emily.
He is survived by: his son Tim Moody (Kathy); his grandchildren, Chris, Christina, Rebecca, Brianna (Jonathan), Todd, Carrie (Chad) and Kimberly (Jimmy); and his siblings, Carl "Junior" Moody, James Moody, Carleen Isble, Gloria Cooper, Carl "Butch" Moody and William "Bill" Moody. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
