She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hoskins and Mossie Hoskins (Roberts); her husband Calvin Montgomery; her son James Dean Montgomery; her siblings, Lola Mae Gilbert (Ace), Hallie Quarles (Gertist) and Rose Knotts (Rufus); and her siblings-in-law, Jack Whited and Donna Hoskins.
She is survived by: her sons, Roger Montgomery (Mary) and Kevin Montgomery (Diana); her grandchildren, Jeremy Montgomery (Kristina), Kim Benton (Mike) and Jenny Miller; her great grandchildren, Jerrod, Jake, Dylan, Lily and Cassie (Justin); her great great grandchildren, Aubrey and Briley; her siblings, Marcel Whited, Tom Hoskins (Rose Lee) and Cecil Hoskins; and her sister-in-law Judy Hoskins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cross Church (612 Beatrice Dr, Dayton, OH 45404). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at the Dayton Memorial Park (8135 N Dixie Dr, Dayton, OH 45414).
